Donor Funded Projects

The Donor Funded Projects Department organizes various business delegation trips from Germany to Egypt, Jordan as well Lebanon and vice versa. The aim of these trips is to facilitate the entry of German small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the Egyptian, Jordanian, and Lebanese markets and help identifying potential business partners.

Special emphasis is put on Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency to support to the Export Initiative "Energy Solutions – Made in Germany" supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

As preparation for these delegations, the Donor Funded Department provides complete event planning & management services and utilizes its excellent contacts as well as the AHK’s extensive date database.

The delegations we organize are usually implemented withing the framework of a donor funded project.

The Donor Funded Projects Departments possess extensive experience in managing multicultural projects with international consortia. This made us develop an effective network of partners, experts and consultants over the EU Med region.

Our primary activities revolve around the EU region, Mediterranean countries and the African continent focusing on technical assistance, transfer of know-how and capacity building, promoting technology and exchanging linkages.

We work closely with stakeholders such as business associations, ministries, local and investment authorities as well as the public sector, donors, academia, international organizations such as the EU delegation, large enterprises, SMEs, federations and chambers.
